Study of the response and degradation capacity of aerobic suspended biomass exposed to wastewater containing emerging micropollutants.
In this project, we studied the response and degradation capacity of aerobic suspended biomass exposed to wastewater containing emerging micropollutants such as MTBE, 1,4-dioxane, pyridine, DMS and DMSO. Process feasibility was assessed through respirometric tests of different types and durations, while simultaneously measuring the removal efficiency of each contaminant.
