Drawing up a Water Safety Plan for a water supply system in Italy.
In this work, the risks of possible water contamination in a water supply system located in Italy were quantified, with the aim of preventing the possibility of contamination of drinking water supplied to the consumer. Three drinking water systems were considered in the study, which presented problems related to the presence of arsenic, ammonia, iron and manganese. This approach was applied in order to reduce the risk to public health, as well as being an opportunity to propose several new control measures in the management of these plants.
