Environmental impact reduction

Study on wet oxidation of hydrocarbon-contaminated soils for remediation purposes.

Hydrocarbons are highly polluting substances that can compromise the ecosystem. The aim of this project was to evaluate the effectiveness of the wet oxidation process on soils highly polluted with petroleum hydrocarbons. The results showed that this process was effective in removing these substances, with a yield of more than 85%.
